Update, apparently they do make a connecting link for diamond 100hs but I believe it is still a press fit with cotter pins

Old post , For future readers. I have used both style chains from bobcat dealer or an 843 and they both worked fine. I did not use a removable master link for two reasons: first they do not make a master link for 100hs, only 100 or 100h I believe, use of a lower grade master link on the 100hs...

Anyone know the correct part number for a thermostart for a 843 with a Perkins 4.154? Some people call it an intake preheat glow plug.

yeah i really dont want to take the sprockets off, for one the back two are harder than heck to reach and i have no way to check the torque on the bolt, its like 525 ft lbs, most torque wrenches only go to 250-300.

Anyone got a good chain riveting tool that I can borrow/rent. I need to install size 100 roller chain in my 843 and the links need to be pressed together. I can't find a spring connecting link of the same grade so I have to use the rivet links that came with the chain. No chianese tools though...

Good choice, I am leaning that way myself. What size tires do you have? My only concern with them is it breaking apart at the connecting link if a large stone or something gets wedged between the track and the tire. And the price is high. I kind of like the prowler tracks also, I have seen many...

I still have found no chain supplier for my 843 other than the dealer. The chain that LPS Sells has a lower avg tensile strength than oem and thinner plate thickness than oem. It also does not say where it is made or who makes it, it is most likely HKK brand chain as seen in one of the pictures.
