I bought a nice looking low hour 642 b bobcat with a bad motor the head had been off overheated and then it was left to sit for a couple of years I bought a vanguard 35 hp kit replacement installed it and it is now running but nothing hydraulic will move ??? the machine relly shows now wear I have messed with the right stick to make sure it is on the left, the brake is off, the cab lock is down , is their any electrical safety I need to power I hope I did not buy something now that needs hydraulic motors ? no absolutely no hydraulics work or even try

changed filter and put new 10/40 in tank and primed filter do not know about or where brass filter
On the hydro pump under the seat does it have one big hose going to the left while standing in the bucket or a steal block on the left side of the pump with three lines going to the left?

Does it growl or groan? If you have the three lined one the filter is in the center one if you have one big hose no filter

The one hose to the left in the front of the pump is a big rubber hose you don't have the hidden filter do the hydro growle when trying to use anything? Do your low pressure lights work when you turn the key on and go out when running?

the hydraulics do make some noise but not its relly loading

its my understanding there is 2 pumps in this unit vane pumps for the wheels in the larger back section of the pump and a gear pump in the front for the bucket ? is the gear pump dependent on the vane pump first working? maybe is there bubles causing cavitation? this has me baffled if nothing works , is there a maybe a internal bypass stuck

Do the low pressure lights come on when you turn the key on and go off after starting? Is the fluid filled to leval? Starting to think you have a pump issue Tazza has a trick to fix this cheap but is a bit of work look him up he is the man

Take the pressure sensor out of the small vane pump that will be first in line from the front and put a pressure gauge in. The vane pump feeds oil to the two variable displacement piston pumps that are in tandem behind it. The piston pumps drive the wheel motors. If you have no hydraulics at all there is a problem with the hyd vane pump. You are sure it it full on hyd oil?

Although the hyd pump could be a gear type, cant remember whether the older ones were gear or the newer ones.

I believe the older ones were vane unless the gear option was choses. Most are vane though.
Personally i'd remove the front part of the vane pump, see if it moves as you rotate the engine. There are 3 pumps in a line, all joined. If there was a problem along the line, the shaft can break preventing the charge/hydraulic pump to not work. If it's not working, the drive will not work either.
Start there and work from that point. An air pocket could be a problem, but should clear pretty fast and give you some movement. Even try removing the line from the front of the hydraulic pump and crank, see if oil sprays out.

okay no pressure but fluid to the gage at the sensor, also is maybe rotation a problem this was a repower ?

correct, if it is not turning in the correct direction it wont work.
You can determine which direction the engine should turn if you still have the old Mitsubishi engine, the crankshaft turned whatever direction makes the distributor rotor is spin clockwise.
