MY QUESTION: Can one tell which style bucket cylinder is on this Lx565 (serial number 39115) skid steer WITHOUT disassembly?? I need to rebuild the bucket cylinders and would like to have the correct seal kits on hand before the repair. As usual, the official New Holland repair manual generates more questions than answers due to CRITICAL lack of information/specifications. 🙄😑😣😅 Lol. Attached are some pics of the bucket cylinders, hydraulics specs. page, etc. According to Messicks (https://www.messicks.com/commoncatalog?vendor=nh&modelId=148041), there is a "solid" or "recessed" piston design (i.e., 02D01 - BUCKET CYLINDER, SOLID PISTON and 02D02 - BUCKET CYLINDER, 3/8'' RECESSED PISTON, respectively). BACKGROUND INFO: Video of bucket cylinders internal leak test {Bucket drop solved (...better after replacing broken bucket spool centering spring bolt, but that did not completely solve the problem)! Will do a simple seal kit job on both bucket cylinders to play it safe. 😀😎 Hydraulic Cylinder Internal Leak (Bypass) Test: , }. New Holland Lx565 skid steer (serial 39115), according to NH repair manual (Section 6, Hydraulic System, pp. 6-95 & 6-96): “There are two designs of bucket cylinders, and the parts are not interchangeable between designs.
