I picked up a 1993 853 a couple years back with the intent of selling when I was done my projects. My budget was my restriction on purchase, hence the dated equipment, but given its straightforward mechanical/electrical set up (no Boss, or computer etc.), it's not as challenging to work on as I had originally thought.
