As a part of my 853 restoration process, I took it apart to repaint. Since it was in pieces, and all the hydraulic/engine parts had been removed, I was curious how much each component weighed. Using my Harbor Freight 1 ton gantry and a 2,200 pound crane scale I bought from Amazon, I got the below results. Rely on these results at your own peril - I paid $72 for the scale. Pics are below.

Upper body: 805 pounds
Lower body: 501 pounds
Arms: 570 pounds
Bob-Tach: 171 pounds
Cab: 327 pounds
Engine and engine driven hydraulic/hydrostatic motors: 780 pounds
Total: 3,154 pounds I did weigh the hydraulic/hydrostatic motors after removing them from the engine. They weigh 156 pounds. That gives an implied engine/starter/alternator/etc weight of 624 pounds (780-156) With an operating weight of 6,497 pounds, that implies the below items weigh 3,343 pounds (6,497-3,154):

Drive components (gears/chains) and motors
Cooling components
Hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and tubings
Exhaust components
Tires/wheels/axles/bearings/races
Gearcases
Steering control sticks and associated frame
Fuel tank
Bucket
All liquids: Fuel/oil/coolant
Hardware, etc.
