Hello, I have a 2001 Scat Trak I purchased new. Put about 2500 hours on it in 10 years with around the farm use and a few small jobs. Then the usage slowed down even more as I purchased other equipment. I have still serviced all the fluids and filters every year and normal stuff like chain maintenance and changing the chain box grease. The machines pushes good for its size and tracks close to equal on hard ground. The boom lifts more than the weight of the machine can handle and the main pump doesn't sound noisy. The left drive is very strong (compared to the right side). The right side is weaker/slower going backwards and noisy. This is a low use backup machine that I will keep serviced up in case I need it so I am hoping to get the experts advise on how to test and hopefully repair options. At what point do you say it is just not worth it for the age/size of the machine? Thanks,
