Note the notches, they must be on the leading edge as the rotating group turns on the plate. When open, you'll see what i mean.After those two plates are swapped from side to side (flatten them when they are out with wet and dry dand paper and a sheet of glass). you will need to take the vane pump apart, rotate the centre cam ring 180 degrees. There will be an arrow cast into it, you want it to face the direction you want it to go. If it's a gear pump, it's a little more work, but can also be done.I assume you are wanting to re-power it with a motor that spins in a different direction?</blockquote>
