I was considering renting my machine out to others. Do any of you do this and can you tell me who you use for business insurance for liability and in case anything happens to the machine? Like if they steal it or something from a job site.
If you have a skid steer you should have liability insurance in the first place...call and see if they cover renting the equipment. Even if this machine is going to a "friend", have a signed contract in place. There's no sense in losing a friend over damage or loss.
If you don't have insurance at all, you need it. Call your local offices and get price quotes.
