I bought it actually to bury a few dead cats (parents used to care for stray cats and always seemed to have a few that would pass on at times from illness or old age and got tired of digging holes by hand LOL) so being cheap and all was fine for me! the one I got was made with a full set up, hydraulic lines plus covered protection hoses) and the attachment plate ready to work or so I thought! first thing I found out was the quick attachment plate they used, the angle iron steel was very small, and weak, would bend and allow skid steer quick attach lips to slip out from under the tabs on the plate , and hoe would then just fall off! which meant there was very little of your quick attach holding onto the plate and it would pull off under even a LITTLE load, and added a lot of stress to the tips of the quick attach! so that had to be corrected, easy cheap fix, but one I had to do to even use it! after that the cylinder was very sloppy and the pins holding it on would walk out , so had to add some shims/spacers to fill gap a little better so loss slop and better pics to hold things on! there basically called STIFF arm hoes too by the way! any how, from MY experience doing very MILD digging work with it, it adds a LOT of stress to your skid steer quick attach and tilt cylinders, I have a LX 865 I use it on and I wouldn;t want to do any major work with it, I think you will just beat your machine up and its not worth the damages over time if all you need to do is dig a few small holes in softer soils, it will get the job done, just make sure you have a GOOD HD plate attached to it, and lots of contact on your quick attach and the plate tabs, the more the better to share the stress applies there! the more serious back hoe attachments that have there own controls and all work MUCH better and do a LOT more, and well the costs show it personally if you need to dig a lot,. don't waste your time or money on one of these if you do very LIGHT duty work on rare occasions, they are nice to have I have used it for a few odd jobs since getting and GLAD I have it,, but I wouldn;t want to try and use on job sites when time and money matter! and or often, as again they will work your machine in ways it wasn't made to be used, adding stress to pins and parts that were NOT designed for this added stress, long term use would be hard on your skid steer IMO!</p></blockquote><p></p>
