For those running Forestry Mulchers on CTL's do you have preferences as to Make/Model? Considering a 60" Bobcat (Fecon?), Ironwolf 5x, Gyro-Trac 500HF, or 60" Bradco Magnum. Any advantage to mulching heads with two-speeds vs. single speed? Any option you would recommend or wouldn't do without? The forestry mulcher will be used on a Bobcat T870 with Hi-Flow and Forestry protection kit. The primary area of use has lots of Eastern Red-cedars (from 1" to 20" across) and some Nasty (more like nails) Thorn-Trees (hard wood) to take down to slightly below ground level. The soil is mainly red-clay with some rocks. Looking at 80-acres to be cleared. With some trails cut through another 80-acres.
