Hi All.
I purchased a 2019 Takeuchi TL10v2. The previous owner explained that an employee ran it without a radiator cap because he dropped it under the engine and couldn't find it. A mechanic took the upper half apart and I was handed a bucket of bolts. I see no issue with the head or head gasket. Couldn't find any cracks on the block. There was water in the bottom of the pan. Less than a quart and real clear, not coolant. I'm taking the head to a machine shop for testing. Cylinder walls look good. Engine turns smoothly by hand. Would it be wise to check the head, reassemble it and pressure test the cooling system? Would you recommend rebuilding the entire engine? I was hoping to not have to do that. Thank you.
