I had also bought a new 'smaller' battery due to the tight space. it has just 520 cca.. where as the bigger one had like 800cca. If I jump the new battery- it cranks over and starts.. But nothing if I don't jump other than a 'click'. Its only a 20 something hp onan- even a small car battery should crank it over shouldn't it? They can crank over a 4 or 6 cylinder car engine?  Maybe my starter since does knock sometimes is having lot more draw than normal?</p></blockquote><p></p>
