Bought a kit for a right side tilt cylinder, took cylinder apart, no problem. The seals were hard and probably original. The kit I bought came with a seal for the rod that sits midway on the sliding part of the hydraulic cylinder. (Gland?). Either way, I installed this cupped seal in and I may have put it in backwards, damaged it, not sure. I reinstalled the cylinder, it was MUCH tighter going in, but as soon as I moved the cylinder with the controls, oil came pushing out around the rod. Again, I must have done something incorrectly. These cylinders are pretty simple. The seal I am talking about is a Hallite, 8834810. Any help on sourcing just that part and proper installation would be ideal!
