Message: <blockquote data-quote="scoreboard" data-source="post: 139571" data-attributes="member: 25466">Id noticed hydraulic fluid leaking from my parking brake too.  I spoke to a local, long time volvo sales/service rep that it was the motor seal leaking into/over filling the gear/chain drive oil box nd leaking out the brake actuator (first place fluid can get out).    He says the seals on the motor are proprietary and, even if you could get them replaced, would liky leak soon due to the worn motor's shaft 'walking' and compromising the seal again.   Guess It's a common problem after the motors have worn.  I had just got the machine back up and running after not seeing use for almost a year due to tracking down another part and getting it back online.  So,  I just drained off the excess fluid at the chain case service port for the moment and hoping (praying) that running the machine might restore the seal.  If not, gonna have a another project.</blockquote>
