No dip when starting with the lights on either. I would have happily just put in new halogen bulbs (actually bought some) but found these. My shells are still soft and they slid right in. My son is not yet the smoothest operator and bouncing around on pavement shook the filaments out all too often. Looking for better service life from the LEDs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
