Message: <blockquote data-quote="Fishfiles" data-source="post: 8392" data-attributes="member: 782"><p>Grey market was the term for years , but the new term , I'd guess to make it more friendly is World Market , you have to be careful here in the USA with true World Market machines , as I have seen people get hurt from flipping machines and the FLOPS and ROPS are not to USA specs which opens up a huge law suit when OSHA gets invovled ------- Also know that alot of John Deere engines come from France , a city called Serine , from what I heard the entire city was built up around the JD engine plant ---------the New Hollands , Ford ,Case and Kobelco all are owned by Fiat , there is a weight break on the Kobelcos as how they are named , think it's 16,000 lbs up is called a Kobelco , under a New Holland , which is suppose to start using the name CNH , heard engineers from Kobelco started there own thing with backing from Lou Gong and are producing a machine now called the Lou Gong , been seeing a few show up at the rental houses here , Link Belt is really a Sumatoma , Cat excavators are really a Mitshibitsi , have heard the story that 90% of the worlds excavators come from a 250 mile radius in Japan and they are all very similar in design and components ----you hear so much don't know whats true any more</p></blockquote><p></p>
