I have a Bobcat 763 High Flow Skid steer. The bracket holding the high flow pump broke allowing the pump to rotate and it disconnected the 1 1/4" (or thereabouts) suction hose that attaches to an elbow underneath the pump. The bracket is fixed and all that is left is to install that suction hose back on to the nipple. That hose is really, really stiff. I thought about heating it with a heat gun but the dealer recommended against doing that on a host that is 25 years old. Are there any tricks for getting that hose to slide on? I'm thinking about wrapping zip ties around the hose and trying to get some kind of leverage to "pull" that hose onto the nipple. I googled and didn't find any tips. Any ideas?
