Message: <blockquote data-quote="nirias" data-source="post: 138757" data-attributes="member: 1018">My S220 has always had the bobcat logo hydraulic oil, but recently lost 5 gallons that was replaced with Shell Spirax TXM.  The owners manual says to use Bobcat logo oil or 10W30 engine oil if the branded oil is unavailable.  The Spirax doesnt have any of the typical engine oil standards on the label and Bobcat doesnt say what spec, if any, their oil meets.  Is the Spirax oil a potential issue with cavitation in the hydraulic pump, corrosion, or some other issue?  The machine has less than an hour of light use since the oil was added.  Just wondering if I need to purge and replace hydraulic oil before winter, when I will be running the machine pretty hard (snow blower takes  close to 100% power for hours at a time).</blockquote>
