The pumps are driven by the camshaft...if the pin has fallen there...it has already been flattened and thrown somewhere in the channel where the rack moves..just push it in with your finger and see if it returns to the starting position by itself.Is it possible that one of the other pumps' lever has come out of the hole in the rack ?- This could block it and not allow it to move freely - it is driven by the centrifugal governor</blockquote>
