Besides the damaged seal everything looked to be in fair condition.  I put all new seals in the motor and put everything back together.   It still does the same thing as before. I also swapped the pressure relief valves from left to right pump with no effect.  I'm not sure what to do next.  When I engage the linkage for the left drive pump it doesn't seem to be doing anything, no hydraulic noise or vibration. Right side still moves but sounds growly.</blockquote>
