I knew this up front and decided I could cut it shorter if I needed to. The thumb seems well made but so far I have only tested it. One thing to be aware of is it does not fold back for storage. I confirmed this with Titan. I am not sure if the larger model does. It's not a big deal to me since since it easily installs and is removed by three quick release pins and the weight isn't bad.</blockquote>
