I realize I'm late coming to the party...but... I just took a guess and doubled it ($4500 and he supplied the dirt). The pool was 14'x32' with a wading end and deep end. I had to demo 48” all around and cave it in. Owner pulled premit which cost $450. Took three days since he dragged his feet getting the dirt there. Rented a hyd. jackhammer for my skid steer to demo the concrete. The city wanted hioles punched in the bottom to allow draiage. The walls were 2' thick in places--and rerod was eveywhere--I had to drive down into the pool and do it that way. Even slid down into the deep end backward and ended up looking at the sky! Luckily I had puished material into the deep end first or it could have been a lot worse. And it was a brand new machine too.
