Then like all good dreams it came to an end... pivot points for the quick attach are located on the inside of my 170's mounting plate. It has been mentioned in this thread a few times, and I'll gladly say it again. Well done on the DIY. Have you had any problems with it? The elements, material getting in the way, power draws, etc?
