Yesterday while using my 873 with the bucket, the engine just died without any warning. No sputtering, nothing, just stopped. When I tried to start it, it turned over fine but would not even attempt to start. I figured it was something to do with the fuel supply, but there were no leaks. I did not have a clue! This morning I called up my local Bobcat service man and told him the story. He immediately said to check the little screw holding the fuel shut-off soleniod on. This is the little black box below the alternator with two wires coming out of it. I went up to the work site and checked the thing to see if it was loose. It was'nt loose, but what the hell, I got a screwdriver and tightened the little screw holding it on about a turn. I went in the cab and to my complete amazement it started right up!! I never would have figured that one out! When I called up the Bobcat man to thank him and to tell him the good news, he said I was the third person that day that had that exact same problem!! I thought I would pass this on to you guys. Did any of you run into this before? Jay
