Hi! I'm looking for somebody that is familiar with diesel engines and compact sweepers (ride on/enclosed cab/high lift dump hopper) that might be wanting some extra work on the side.
I figure this engine is probably similar in a lot of ways to skidsteer engines.
I have a compact sweeper (Nilfisk-AdvanceRS850) that needs engine work and quite possibly hydraulic work.
It is a 65HP Turbo engine (Italian made but same one GM uses in some things).
I have a source for parts lined up in England- just need to find a mechanic to work on it…for a reasonable rate.
I have money tied up in this machine- which quit running the SECOND TIME I STARTED IT!!
I haven't been able to generate any income from it of course, so I can't really afford to take it into a shop and pay those kinds of rates.
I certainly didn't expect to have to pour a whole bunch of money into it before I even MADE ANY!!!
I am located in Midwestern Ontario (between Guelph and Owen Sound). I do have a couple of shop spaces that could possibly be used to work on it, and I have someone familar with engines to assist (he's got tools and a pit- just doesn't know enough about Diesel engines.
Or, I could have it towed to wherever you're located.
