I quit working on Cat Track loaders just recently as I truely hate the machine and it is always hard to work on , even changing the oil in one is no fun , but a good friend has just broke a lug off and needs a new track , I will not even change another track on a 287 I told him but tried to help him with finding a set of after market track as $6,300 a set is a rip off , I found some after market tracks which are sitting in a warehouse that can't be sold as I am told a law suit has arisen and they are in limbo , first question is anyone heard this same story , second question is I am told there is a bolt on lug that can be some how screwed into the track to repair a broke lug , has anyone attempted this fix , anoter reason why Cat mini track loaders do $uck your dollar$

Bairproductsinc.com has bolt on lugs for repairing tracks and after market tracks and rollers for the ASV undercarriages.
