bucket and forks?

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

ive got the non hydraulic ones
I think you miss understood the types of forks,
some are clamp onto a bucket, so with these you would keep your bucket on your machine and then clamp the forks onto the bucket

and others use the standard quick attachment to be mounted to the machine , which would require you to remove your bucket to do so

NOW< if your just asking how to MOVE both a bucket and a set of forks, as if travel with both, if they are both mount with a quick attach set up, , you MIGHT be able to get the forks into the bucket, but most folks I know, use the forks to carry the bucket, as its easier to do, and strap together for loading on a trailer or if needed to be strapped down to prevent falling off forks on rough terrain

nah. i'm having difficulties either attaching forks to bucket or taking bucket off and attaching forks. the forks don't appear to have appropriate mounting brackets. keep in mind I don't know much about these machines fairly different to the old Massey.i will take a picture and post later today

are the forks on a universal skid steer quick attach or,. are they on some other set up, they make and sell forks for several different machine types and set up.

also,. some so called UNIVERSAL skit steer quick attaches are not made to fit ALL makes and model of skid steers, some have wider or narrower set up and may NOT fit some attachments

but I still do not understand HOW you are trying to attach forks to your bucket, if there not clamp on forks?
what model skid steer do you have, and yes please provide pictures of forks, and bucket and the quick attach on your skid steer, that would maybe help us help you a lot better!
