I am trying to figure out what is wrong with a fuel solenoid and/or the circuit that powers it. This is on a bobcat S-150. I dismounted the solenoid but kept it plugged in to its electric leads. When i press the plunger in, it will not stay in even though my multi-meter says it is getting 5.5 volts DC at the leads. A brand new solenoid behaves the same way. The resistance on both the new and used solenoids are similar to each other. On the leads, which is 2 wires plus a separate ground wire, the multi-meter reads 5.5 v. Thanks for any ideas out there!
