I checked the wiring to the coolant temp sensor and it had voltage and ground. I touched the 2 coolant temp wires together and the display fault code changed from high resistance circuit to low resistance circuit. This confirmed that the sensor, wiring and control unit were working fine. I concluded that the temp gauge was bad. Unfortunately the temp gauge is part of the display unit so I didn't replace anything and just decided to live with the bad coolant temp gauge.</p></blockquote><p></p>
