This machine has the rubber hose carb choke linkage. Steel rod to flex rubber hose to choke plate pin. Moving the choke lever twists the hose rotating the choke plate. My problem is the length of throw on the choke lever will not open the choke plate from fully closed to fully open. My question is - at full closed on the choke lever does the choke plate have to be fully closed or can it be slightly open which in turn will allow for a more fully open plate with the choke in full open position when the engine has warmed up?</p></blockquote><p></p>
