Hi guys. I’m having a few issues with the hydrostatic pumps in my bobcat 453. The case on each pump seems to be pressuring and blowing out the top pintle cover seals. I had pulled both pumps down and found the wear plates and piston shoes to be a bit scored. So I polished everything on some 1200 grit and 2000 grit wet and dry and everything came up perfectly. But it hasn’t resolved the issue. Just wondering if I should have knocked the edges off each piston port at the bottom of the rotating groups? Also have noticed the case doesn’t have a case drain directly back to the tank, they drain internally to the hydraulic gear pump. Would adding a case drain on each pump back to the reservoir help or is that a dumb idea. Thanks guys
