Message: <blockquote data-quote="mogman" data-source="post: 139717" data-attributes="member: 7318">There is only one seal, that is in the lower housing on the output shaft, somehow the "body"of the motor is always vented to the low pressure (return) side of the hydraulic system no mater which direction the motor is turning.There were three different lower housings and output shafts, the first series had an O ring, the second a Teflon seal like a hydraulic cylinder (gland) and the third went back to an O ring although not the same as the first series, Mine was a first series but the lower housing and output shaft had been changed to the second series sometime in its life.You must remove the pivot pin in the mount (20), the cover (18) then the mount (22) then turn the ass with the output shaft up unbolt and remove the lower housing, you will need the housing to motor O ring (42) and what ever style seal you have, I would wait until confirming which style seal you have before ordering parts.</blockquote>
