First time posting. I have a 853h bobcat. Last fall I replaced all 4 wheel axle seals and parked for winter. Now I have a ticking sound when going slow. 3 axles have some end float. Could I have damaged something while changing seals? Hubs were VERY tough pulling off. Also, can drive chains be tightened or do they have to be replaced when loose?

bobcat chains are made to fit linkless chain ,aftermarket chain has links ,there is two types some with clips and some use cotter pins to hold links together, I have read people prefer the cotter pin type so a clip coming off and the link falling out is not a concern.

On some models, Bobcat made a spacer/washer that goes under the axle bolt to take out endplay. They were machined on each side to different thicknesses (recessed).

I do not see them listed for the 853.
