I am going to try and build one today. I dont think the attachment angle is critical because most machines can tilt to at least parallel with the ground (this gives me an idea to see if you could build it that way to save on steel??). I was thinking about buying one but little ones are hard to find and I dont want to overload my little machine. I was searching online and saw quite a few different designs and even a few with videos. I am going to make the base out of old scaffold brace angles I have laying around. If I can find cheap strong stuff I may add some teeth to the front edge that would not dig in unless you did not have the thing flat to the ground. One question I will just have to try is to have a screen or no screen. I think I will try it without and if its not working right it will be easy to tack one on there. I also thought about making it to attach to the bottom of the bucket. Anyone try that or think of a reason not to? Seems like it could save some steel and welding. I was thinking of a few inches of space between the plane and bucket for the dirt to 'flow' and some hooks maybe with locking bolts to hold into the bucket.
