Accessory Attachment Actuator - Cat 289D (Small Spur Gear Stripped)

Small spur gear in Actuator that controls the engagement and disengagement pins for attaching accessories to skid steer is stripped and Cat dealership indicated can't purchase just the small gear, but have to purchase entire Actuator which is $820 - ouch! Has anyone come across this issue and been able to find the gears within the actuator motor control? This comes off of a Cat 289D Tracked Skid Steer.
