Message: <blockquote data-quote="500K_773" data-source="post: 69" data-attributes="member: 33">River Hill,I was able to try a A220 last summer in the dealers lot.  The all-wheel steer function allowed me to turn in a circle on loose gravel with hardly disturbing it, especially compared to my skidsteer.  I did not get to try it on turf.  The model I tried had standard skidsteer tires on it, not turf tires.  It was a little awkward getting used to the control in all-whell steer mode.  The controls are like the new selectable joystick function Bobcat is offering in some skidsteers.  Control the movement of the machine with the left joystick and the bucket functions with the right joystick.  When in skidsteer mode, joystick work as a normal skidsteer.What are your needs?  Do you need a machine that lifts 3000# or could a smaller all-wheel steer machine work?  If you could get by with a smaller machine and don't specifically need a skidsteer, you may want to look at the ToolCat.  It is about 4000# lighter than an A-300 and also has all-wheel steering.  The lighter machine would definately do less damage to the turf.  It has a 1500# lifting capacity, can use many loader attachments, has a hydraulic dump box, and could pull a trailer.  If I had a lot of park maintenance or small farm, I would definately look at one of these.  With a top speed of 18 MPH, you may not even have to trailer it if your locations are close.</blockquote>
