I have a 763 that leaks somewhere on the bottom of the main valve. Being really overweight I cant get down to look under the valve but it looks like all the lines on the bottom are very close to each other. Unless Im guessing wrong it seems you would need a special wrench to tighten or remove theses lines, one made like a plummers wrench ? This is my 1st skidsteer so I need some input on what would be needed to tighten the hydraulic lines.

The wrenches used to work on the tube lines are called flare nut wrenches and look like this.

access window with two bolts on side the machine lets you get to the only hose on the bottom of the valve , one bolt has a nut on the inside which also holds the valve in place , don't take that one out , the other bolt screws into the frame , rotate the plate on one bolt and you can just barely get a 1 1/4 wrench in , it helps to grind some of the wrench's head away and remove the rear wheel , I have tubing wrenches and never use them , a crow foot is more helpful some times but not nessecary it the leak is indeed from the bottom hose or adaptor fitting oring which is screwed into the bottom of the valve , good luck

Sounds like spool seals?.

Thanks for all the tips, I guess I need to get a mirrow and good light. Maybe that way I can see whats leaking on the bottom side of the valve. The valve seems to leak if its running or not and more so when its setting. I dont use the 763 but maybe once a month or less so I was thinking of putting a cut off valve on the supply hose from the tank (if thats possible).

Sounds more and more like spool seals, mine leaked when not running. If your reservoir tank is like mine, you would need a pretty big cut off valve.
