The shop manual says the engine and Hyd pump need to be removed but there is, in fact, enough room to replace it as stated in other threads. My replacement came from Allskidsteers.com (I got lucky, as the one my machine used was only $39.95). When I tried to install it, the float would hang up on the threads the sender screws into due to the angle required by the pump overhead. The float is somewhat fragile (thin) so I carefully rounded the bottom edge of the float with an emery board. That still wasn't enough to get it to slip in so I took a piece of brass shim stock and cut it wide and long enough to cover about a third of the threads. I left a long wide tab on top to prevent it falling into the tank. This covered the threads enough to prevent the float from hanging up but not taking up enough space to prevent the float from dropping in. It worked like a shoehorn! Very little push was required to get the float in. Slip joint pliers worked to tighten the sender once installed. Maybe this tip will help the next person faced with this repair.</p></blockquote><p></p>
