Wrong. The 751s had Peugeot 1.6l diesel engines. Thats what the 1 in 751 means. Bobcat had a retrofit kit to install a Kubota engine and pumps in a 751 basically making a short wheel base 753. Entire engine cradle, pumps, and control levers were changed. Now the Peugeot is a decent engine but its kind of moody. Lots of little electronic junk to foul up. Its also getting harder and harder to get parts for. I personally would own one, but Ive been called a glutton for punishment. A "2" in a Equipment number denotes a gas engine such as a 632 or 742. 742B had a Mitsu gas engine. In a 731 those ran a diesel engine but it was a air cooled Deutz. The "0" model machines (720, 600) had a air cooled gas Wisconson engine. I believe it was from the 1970 ONLY Pinto. 1971-73 Pintos used a 2.0 mechical lifter OHC engine then went to a 2.3 Hyd OHC engine that you more commonly find in Ranger P/u from 83-95+ *Whew*
