Message: <blockquote data-quote="Lingle" data-source="post: 130394" data-attributes="member: 24024"><p>contacted Pertronix, unfortunately for the solid state distributor used on my Ford industrial engine, they do not have a kit or recommendation.  I will continue to investigate the current setup(as noted above), or I will see if I can find a older points type distributor used for a few years in the 542B to swap in.  parts for these seem to be stupid expensive, like fuel shut off solenoid stud is stripped and no threads left, $150 for a new one...and not even a OEM Zenith version either.</p></blockquote><p></p>
