Looking for help from the experts. Newbie here. Sorry this is so long. I have an air conditioner that is not working on a 2015 T650. The compressor will not kick on. We jumped the compressor and are able to get the clutch to engage. That's a plus. Next we checked for power to the compressor and that's where we are having issues. No power from the connector on the compressor. Next, thinking it may be low on coolant and not tripping the pressure switch on the drier, my neighbor brought his A/C machine over to test it. Evac'd the system and ran a leak test and it passed. I pulled the pressure switch while the system was drained and could get tone on a meter when I blew air into it. ReInstalled the switch, charged the system and still nothing. Did a voltage check on the connector to the pressure switch and it does not seem to be getting power. The switch in the cab seems to be working enough to make the light come on. Checked voltage on both sides of the switch, good. When doing a continuity check, I get tone on my meter with one side grounded to the frame and the other on what looks to be the hot wire going into the A/C switch in the cab. I get the same result on the connector to the pressure switch. I'm baffled and looking for any help I can get. I do not see any chaffed wires anywhere either. Fuse is good and replaced the relay for S&Gs. What should I check next?

The switches are usually the problem, however lift the cab and look on the right side of the air conditioning unit. You should be able to find the thermostat controller, small plastic rectangle that has a red LED light on the end of it. See if it is flashing a code, if its solid red then the system should be working normally.

Thank you for the reply. I just checked it and it is doing a single flash every second or so. Any idea what that means? Currently the all the coolant is out of the system. I was going to get a new pressure switch tomorrow.

Single flash per second is Temperature sensor short or open. The sensor is the probe you will find under the cover at the evaporator core. Check plug and wiring and sensor itself.

Will check that in the morning. Thanks again for the help and I will keep you posted.

Well, I checked out the sensor this morning and found the wires in a tight bend, but overall looked decent. I went and picked up a new sensor and put it on. Now I am getting a double flash on the light. Is that because there is no coolant in the system or something else? Thank you.

Did you find problem I have same issue

2 flashes is compressor open circuit, this could be in the green lighted switch, compressor harness plug or somewhere else in the wiring.
