slow descend on 843

I have an 843. About a month ago I noticed that the descend function is operating at about half speed. The lift and tilt functions all operate normally. The foot control is not packed with dirt or debri and seems to move normally. I haven't checked under the cab to see if it is a linkage problem yet. Anyone experience this before?

The only time i have had that issue is when i had wear in the linkages that prevented the spools moving fully forward or backwards.
I'd check for play first.
