I'm about to buy an LS120. It will be a toy I'm hoping to have some fun with. In searching for a machine, I've come across quite a few model number variations. LS120, L120, etc. L - I assume stands for loader S - I assume the "S" in the second digit denotes a newer design of some kind. Can someone explain the difference? 1xx - I assume this denotes the smallest, least powerful series of loaders 20 - horsepower?

When I frst looked at nh in 99. They sold a l565 and a lx565 (which later became the LS)
The difference at that time was the L series did not have a 3rd valve, aka auxilary hydraulics.
Not sure if that applies to the 120 series.
