Lx465 hydraulics

Help I was moving a round bale today and the low hydraulic pressure light and alarm came on with the stop light . Checked and added a quart of fluid changed filter still nothing . Checked for leaks nothing . unit will not move and the boom will not move . Any advice would be a great help.

One of two things happened. Either the hydraulic pump failed or the drive plate in the bell housing failed. Remove the hydraulic pump. With hyd pump removed, momentarily crank the engine while watching the center shaft of the front hydrostat, where the hyd pump shaft mated. If the hydrostat shaft turns then the problem is the hydraulic pump. If the hydrostat shaft does not turn then the connection between the engine and the hydrostat failed
