When I bought my L555 is did not have the safety switch at the seat or seat belt, The wire had been jumped. My question is, when that was in operation what got locked out if either the seat belt unlatched or seat was not sat it? I assume the hydraulics in the lift won't work, but what about the drive hydraulics?

The early L555 only used a seat switch which locked the boom hydraulics alone. When NH came with the operators presence system, the system with the little black box on the right cab wall, both the boom and bucket circuits were locked using both a seat switch and seat belt switch. Neither setup affected the drive.
