I have a Gehl 2600 about 83 vintage. Sn #00511. Forward-Reverse control has very little resistance, and does not hold center for neutral. I tightened the friction bar springs, but caused more bucking problems. Parts availabe? Thks. Jim
I have a 79 model, similar to yours. I email gehl about parts. Was told to old for them to have parts but to look around the net. Mine bucks a bit too. Was told to just ride it hard to limit the bucking, which has helped a bit.
