Does Auxiliary Flow vary with engine RPM?

I just bought a 2018 Volvo MC115C which has 24 gpm auxiliary flow at the standard flow setting. My existing snowblower is rated for 17-21 gpm and I've read that running too much flow can burn up the hydraulic motors. I'd rather not buy another blower as I bought this one new and it's still in excellent shape. (I had been running it on a Bobcat S185 Turbo that I'm going to sell).

So, my question is: Does aux flow vary with engine rpm? If I would get 87% of rated aux flow at 87% of full throttle I could run it that way and be getting under 21 gpm - if it works that way? Thanks for any help / ideas.

flow rate does change some with engine rpm,I think I would get a hold of the manf. of the snow blower and ask them, they might suggest some kinda drain for excess oil from the motor back to the case, that is a GUESS.
