adding ac to 2007 bobcat s-185

has anyone added air conditioning to a bobcat s185 with an already heated cab? anyone know the cost? can you do it yourself? dealer costs if have to go that way?

Unfortunetly, its probably pretty cost prohibitive. I'd guess its easier to sell yours and buy one with AC.

When I was considering buying a machine without air and installing it myself,
I ran across a company that made aftermarket roof air conditioners. Sorry I no longer have the info but you may be able to find them online like I did. It would save a lot of work since the unit sat on the roof and the controls were attached. Cutting a hole in the roof was not an issue and the unit was self contained. mounting the compressor was a bit more complex however if the skid steer model offered air, you could purchase the brackets from the dealer.
