My new to me 8875 is very jerky on the left side stick. The machine has only run 100 hrs in the last 4 yrs so I'm wondering if something is stiff from sitting or is there an adjustment I can check. I don't think a chain is skipping but I could be wrong. I can't find a reasonably priced service manual or operators manual to dive in with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To check your drive chains put the machine up on blocks and rotate the tires by hand clockwise and counter clockwise. See if any have excess play. I think on that one you can access a side panel to see the chains. There also might be steering dampeners (little shocks) that are missing or worn out causing the jerky feeling. I think I have a PDF file of the 8875 service manual. I'll try to take a look at steering linkage if I get time. My plate is a bit full now with a 323 track machine.
