My 751 sometimes while starting tries to engage one of the drive motors and wont start. Makes tons of noise. Weird as the it does it after prolonged sitting not everyday use.

Untill then after sitting try jiggeling the levers before starting
If you disengage the brake before starting can help reduce or prevent the grinding noise.
Getting the neutral adjustment right is not always easy, it can take some time to get right.

this is what the guys are referring to its called creep . at full throttle. brake released unit should sit still. should be able to drive forward handels should snap back to neutral. this can be equated to your old standard ford truck like trying to start in gear without pushing the clutch. gonna get herky jerky.
